After the crash of the US Economy in 2007/2008 many people in America found themselves in untenable situations economically. Folks could not pay for Home Improvement work and such because the Banks and Credit Card Companies shrunk their lines of credit to people in good standing financially.
All the major financial players were given FEDERAL MONEY to bail them out yet the regular people were left stranded. By the mid 2010’s I was sued in Small Claims Court (Civil Action)…I beat them. It took almost two years of my life but I did it…learning a whole lot about the legality of the THIRD PARTY DEBT COLLECTION INDUSTRY.
My successful defense allowed me to Defend my CREDIT; in fact I have more credit now than before I was sued. Because I decided to defend myself in court PRO SE, learn the game and go on to win the game…I was able to assist family members later on because of my Good Credit later-after winning.
I had hired a “COURT REPORTER” for the actual day I was to appear in court for the case to be heard and decided. However, the Plaintiff sent their Plaintiff Counsel to negotiate a settlement with me. The Court Reporter said she had never seen that happen except ONCE BEFORE IN HER TEN YEAR CAREER AS A COURT REPORTER. Why did I hire a Court Reporter (you ask)? Because I was prepared to fight all the way into the APPELLATE COURT SYSTEM.
